It shows her cheerful and full of life, as she most enjoyed spending time with her father, who was also her biggest role model. Trinity Gay was following in her father’s footsteps and had dreams of becoming a famous track star like her dad. Caught in the Crossfire. Gay was killed in a shootout outside a restaurant called Cook Out in Lexington, Kentucky. The shootout took place in the parking lot outside the restaurant.

It is believed that it was a dispute between two rival gangs and Gay was caught in the crossfire, as passengers in two different cars started shooting at each other. Her Father is Devastated. Gay was immediately taken by vehicle to the University of Kentucky Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
